I am not quite familiar with P2P things. However, one certain thing is that digital contents (image and video) will become dominant in the future computer systems. An IDC report says now digital contents counts for over 70% of the data. Thus, we definitely need a storage model/infrastructure to store these data efficiently and economically. Hey, buddy, I hope I can come to beijing sometime to discuss with you these issues.

In my opinion, OpenMP is ease to use, but relies on the effort of the programmer. The runtime of OpenMP is not optimal at all. I suggest that we have a built-in scheduler in the OS, which will exposed to the programmer and the public library can use the scheduler to do their tasks. That is tricky for the scheduler. On one hand, it should be generic enough. On the other hand, the performance should be an issue.

Very interesting ideas. The system research is becoming simplified. Just like Google’s BigTable. The ideas in BigTable are simple. Simplicity is easy to scale to thousands of machines. Look at the storage model, look at the fault tolerance, every thing is so simple and straightforword. The most important point is that it works.

to
if( -10*abs (1-i) == 10*abs(1-i) )

就不相等了，bug从哪里来的？

On top of that, we simulate data flows and test how our CDN reacts. We could further refine our model using sampled data from real world like some existing P2P networks(BT, ED2K, Kad…). But that’s another story.
